Arbab was a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Iowa State University and a research assistant at the AI Institute for Resilient Agriculture (AIIRA). After joining Dr. Soumik Sarkar's lab in Spring 2022, his research centered on 3D reconstruction using neural radiance fields (NeRFs), with applications to soybean plants. He also explored the intersections of machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI, including large language models and MLOps.
He is currently a Software Engineer (AI) at Waymo.
Research interests: 3D reconstruction, neural radiance fields, computer vision, generative AI, large language models, MLOps
