Ashutosh was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Iowa State University, co-advised by Dr. Soumik Sarkar and Dr. Jin Tian. His research focused on adversarial robustness: developing methods that make deep learning models empirically robust while also providing avenues for their theoretical certification. His dissertation was titled "Toward Reliable AI: Practical and Certified Defenses for Adversarially Robust Vision Systems."
He graduated from the SCS Lab in December 2025 and is currently working at Meta.
Research interests: Adversarial robustness, certified defenses, robust vision systems
