- M.S., Computer Science, Iowa State University, 2018
- B.E., Computer Engineering, University of Mumbai, 2016
Apurva joined the lab in Spring 2017. She has a passion for computer science, especially solving puzzles and developing programs, and cares about using technology responsibly and ethically. She hoped to help make machines more intelligent and to push AI forward. In the lab, she worked with machine learning techniques; her M.S. thesis was "A study of interpretability mechanisms for deep networks" (2018).
She graduated from the SCS Lab in May 2018 and worked at Kingland Systems as a Software Designer. She is now affiliated with Oregon State University.
Research interests: Machine learning, interpretability of deep networks
